Infosys Specialist Programmer 2025 Onboarding Experience

Offer Letter and Pre-Onboarding Phase

I received my offer letter in early June 2025, with the joining scheduled for the last week of June. After getting the offer, we were asked to upload all required details and documents on the Infosys Launchpad portal within 10 days.

My college had just concluded in mid-May, and I was at home during this period. Unfortunately, my 8th semester marksheet and provisional certificate weren't ready yet, so I proceeded to upload the documents I had available.

Documents Submitted

• 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates
• All B.Tech semester marksheets (except 8th initially)
• Bonafide certificate (in place of provisional certificate)
• Medical certificate
• NSR card
• Passport number
• PAN card
• Signed offer letter

The 8th semester marksheet was the only document missing. My college initially refused to provide it, which made me anxious. After multiple requests, they finally agreed to issue a temporary version with an official seal and signature.

Confirmation Delay & Support from Advisor

As the Infosys onboarding team started sending confirmation emails for travel and onboarding at the Mysuru campus, many of my friends received their confirmation—but I didn’t.

I immediately reached out to my onboarding advisor, S. Someshkar (LinkedIn), who was incredibly kind and helpful. He guided me through all the necessary steps to resolve the issue and ensured that things moved quickly from his end.

Within three days, I finally received my confirmation email—just two days before my travel. I quickly booked a flight to Bangalore.

Travel to Mysuru Campus

I booked a flight to Bangalore. From BLR airport, I took the Infosys-provided bus to Mysuru city around 2 AM. From Mysuru bus stand, I took Bus No. 116 (or 119) directly to the Infosys campus.

First Day at Infosys

I reached the Infosys Mysuru campus at 7 AM on 22nd June. Entry procedures started at 8 AM. After completing the required formalities, I received my ECC room key and a temporary ID card.

Monday, 23rd June was my official Day 1 as a Specialist Programmer Trainee. The first 5 days included an induction program where we were introduced to the campus, policies, rules, and work culture.

We also submitted all our documents physically during these induction days.
